Power Plant Controller

Power Plant Control (PPC) from Affinity optimizes solar plant output using an industrial PLC/RTU to monitors and control each inverter’s contribution to the plant output. This unique control scheme maximizes output in situations like partial cloud cover by reacting dynamically to provide consistent power output.

Monitoring And Data Acquisition

Affinity SCADA solution provide complete Realtime solution for monitoring and controlling equipment installed at PV Solar and ESS facilities. Operators can manually reset or start/stop inverters through the DAS system as well as control real power (kW) production to adhere to utility requirements.

Our systems can support industry standard protocols, including Modbus, DNP3, OPC-UA, Serial (RS232/485) and Modbus TCP/IP. It supports advanced features for data logging, Realtime data viewing, user management, alarming, reporting, and API integration.

Weather Station

Robust and reliable weather stations are key to optimizing solar plant production. Affinity standard MET station is all stainless-steel construction with a complete but customizable instrumentation package and data logger.

Our standard instrumentation package includes:

  • Plane of array (POA) pyranometer.
  • Global horizontal irradiance (GHI) pyranometer.
  • Module temperature Sensor.
  • Ambient Temperature, Humidity, Wind speed/direction and pressure sensor.
